CbI Promotion Office

To implement and advance Taiwan’s Chip-based Industrial Innovation Program (CbI), the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) established the CbI Promotion Office in 2024. The office monitors global technology and market trends, analyzes semiconductor and AI developments, and provides strategic recommendations to keep the program responsive and forward-looking. It coordinates over a dozen inter-ministerial projects and fosters collaboration among government, industry, academia, and research institutions. The office also promotes international partnerships to align national resources with global innovation opportunities.
