To strengthen Taiwan’s position as the world’s largest IC startup hub and attract top global technology talent and venture capital, the National Science and Technology Council is organizing the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge. This competition selects outstanding teams to establish a presence in Taiwan, connect with international and private funding, and drive the expansion of chip startup applications. With the world’s most comprehensive semiconductor ecosystem, Taiwan provides rapid support for innovative ideas.

The third round of award-winning teams has been announced! Eight promising technologies were selected. The winning teams will be showcased at the Future Tech Pavilion of the 2025 Taiwan Innotech Expo, highlighting innovations that will drive Taiwan’s development in AI chips and applications, semiconductor manufacturing, smart healthcare, low-earth-orbit satellites, and beyond.

The eight award-winning technologies from the third batch are listed in the attachment. The Taiwan Innotech Expo will be held October 16–18, 2025 as a physical exhibition, where the award-winning technologies will be showcased onsite. On October 18, 13:00–14:30, the IC Taiwan Grand Challenge Unveil will take place (https://www.futuretech.org.tw/futuretech/index.php).
